FATHER'S DAY – a special day for your Dad!

FATHER'S DAY – a special day for your Dad!
Vancouver, B.C., June 21, 2020

Forget about expensive gifts! What your Dad likes most is spending quality time with his kids and the entire family!
Father's Day was supposed to be the special day that Dad was singled out for his hard work. Serious ... being mom's right hand is not easy. To show him his efforts, he is valued, why shouldn't he spend the day doing what he likes to do.

Located in Vancouver, BC we know about a lot of exciting activities in and around British Columbia. Check out what we found:

Enjoy the outdoors together
A walk in the park at the end of the street or a walk in a national park is a great way to spend time with dad. It is the first summer since 1990 that the gondola at the Sunshine Ski Resort is open to summer visitors. So why not plan an excursion? Sunshine Meadows in Banff National Park? The gondola and the Standish chairlift do all the work, you can take an easy walk through the beautiful alpine pastures.

Exciting things to do outside
Closer to Vancouver you can explore dramatic landscapes on your way to Whistler: the Sea-to-Sky Highway, the Sea-to-Sky Gondola, Squamish, Whistler Village, and Brandywine Falls. Admire Howe Sound, the Squamish River, and the Coastal Mountains from the gondola.
Are you excited about a hike over a suspension bridge? Drive to North Vancouver Lynn Canyon and follow the trails to the suspension bridge across the narrow gorge. At 40 meters long and 50 meters above the water, it is a pretty exciting crossing.

Things for free
Did you know that children can play golf for free on hundreds of golf courses when accompanied by a paying adult?
Check the link to http://kidsplaygolf.ca/ to find out which courses in your area offer the special moments of connection. Courses such as the Mayfair Golf and Country Club in Richmond BC, to Airlane Golf Club in Halifax NS offer all family prices on selected days or evenings.

A gift that lasts forever
Last but not least - why not doing a BBQ. In many countries, BBQs are a great tradition on Father's Day. The BBQ should be filled with all the delicacies that are Dad's favourites. Juicy steaks and hearty skewers, but also crispy vegetables and delicious salads and homemade sauces should not be missing. If you don't want to celebrate without a gift check out our small workshop oven that almost looks like a smoker. Your Dad will love it!

Enjoy quality time with your father - he deserves it!

THE VANCOUVER CHRISTMAS MARKET IS BACK THIS YEAR!

The Vancouver Christmas Market is finally back this holiday season! After a one year hiatus, the Vancouver Christmas Market is finally back in 2021 and we are more excited than ever. Downtown Vancouver’s beloved holiday tradition returns for the 11th time from Nov 13 - Dec 24 to Jack Poole Plaza. The market starts one week earlier than usual, for less crowding and even more chances for everyone to attend. For many residents and visitors alike, a yearly stop over at the Vancouver Christmas Market has become a seasonal ritual.
